My guest today is Gaby Neves. Gaby has over 17 years of experience running Factory360, one of the top award-winning brand activation agencies in the U.S. with clients such as Meta, Amazon, Lacoste and Spotify.
Gaby has a passion for tech and has adapted growth-hacking techniques to drive business for clients. Gaby is also a leader in the industry at large, creating the first ever incubator program with Florida International University and serving on the DE&I advisory board for Event Marketer magazine.
Here are my takeaways:
1. You can become intentional with your culture even if you’re already years in. Start with who you already are and create a common language.
2. DEI shouldn’t be just about the diversity, but also about being inclusive and making everyone feel more at home.
3. Culture is more complex than picking three words that describe it. It can be a story or a sentence.
4. What remote work took away was the ability to be spontaneous in building relationships at work. They now need to be intentional.
5. Take the time to celebrate weekly things like birthdays, special events and even topics that the team come together on ..in Gaby’s company it is sustainability.
6. Culture is not a superficial measure or three words on your wall, it’s a compass.
