Pittsburgh native, veteran boxing columnist and sportswriter, Kevin Iole, joins Coach J on this episode of The Empire Boxing Podcast. Kevin has had a long career in the sports business having covered combat sports since the 1970's. He served as the lead MMA and Boxing columnist for Yahoo Sports from 2007 - 2023 and in 2007 he won the Nat Fleischer Award for career excellence in boxing journalism. Kevin has recently launched his own site www.keviniole.com where he covers boxing, MMA, power slap and betting. His experience, and long career in the business, means he's seen more than most people which provides a unique and informed perspective for fans.
