We are still hanging out in Leviticus 26! God gives us a list of amazing promises, but in this episode, we want to take some time and look at where our responsibility lies...
“Do not make idols or set up carved images, or sacred pillars, or sculptured stones in your land so you may worship them. I am the Lord your God. You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence to my sanctuary. I am the LORD. If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains…” Leviticus 26:1-3
So lets go through 4 responsibilities that we have in order to receive the promises of God listed out in the rest of the chapter.
- Do not make idols
- Keep the Sabbath day of rest
- Show reverence in my sanctuary
- Follow decrees and obey commands
