Philadelphia’s 19132 zip code sees a lot of violence. It’s also home to the Institute for the Development of African American Youth, where each week, fathers, fathers-to-be, and aspiring fathers come to talk about fatherhood and everything that comes with it. Money. Security. Custody. Snitching. No topic is off limits. Join Brian Seltzer as a fly on the wall at one of IDAAY’s Young Fathers United meetings, and hear from members of the group. Plus, we’ll meet IDAAY’s co-founder, Archye Leacock, whose organization has been helping young, Black men navigate fatherhood for over three decades.
