Flyfish Club Founders: David Rodolitz & Conor Hanlon – Launching A Member's Only Restaurant Where Membership is Purchased as an NFT | Martin Hyu Show Ep.22

Excited for another episode today as I get to receive not one but two amazing guests: David Rodolitz and Conor Hanlon from Flyfish Club. For those of you who are not familiar with this project, it’s a private dining club where membership is purchased on the blockchain as an NFT. That means that the only way to get into FFC is to hold the token or come with someone that has the NFT.

David Rodolitz who is CEO of FFC has been in the New York City hospitality industry for 20+ years. He’s owned and operated various food & beverage establishments, from James Beard nominated restaurants, to fast-casual concepts, iconic bars and nightlife venues.

Conor who is EVP of Operations has worked in some of the best restaurants in the country and found himself alongside legends such as Daniel Boulud on several different projects. He worked his way from a line cook to Chef De Cuisine of Michelin Star Restaurant, DB Brasserie. He was the Culinary Director for NoHo Hospitality and moved to NYC in 2015 to join the corporate Team which oversees 17 Restaurants in the US.

The 2 other founders are: Gary Vee and Chef Josh Capon. Gary (chairman of FFC) is a serial entrepreneur, marketing legend, all-time operator and inspiration to many. Josh (Chief culinary officer for FFC) is a highly decorated celebrity chef and television personality.

Being from the restaurant industry, I definitely enjoyed this episode as so many points hit home for me. We cover a wide gamut of topics relating to Flyfish Club. We dive into their mindset and perspective relating to hospitality, community building, NFTs and much more.
