Which of 3 sets of expectations for Falcons is more realistic

With the 2024 NFL season starting in only a couple of days, a lot of eyes are focused on the new-look Atlanta Falcons. With millions of new eyes shifted to the Atlanta Falcons, several different sets of expectations have now emerged. How good will they be? One set of expectations that has been thrown out, is that with the additions of Matthew Judon and Justin Simmons to the defense the Falcons are now Super Bowl contenders. Most that share this set of expectations think that the Falcons were a much improved team after signing Kirk Cousins in the offseason, but maybe not good enough to make a Super Bowl run. On the other end of the spectrum lies the complete opposite set of expectations. People that think that there is no way that Kirk Cousins, coming off of an Achilles tear, can return to winning form at the age of 36. Somewhere in the middle lies most of us. We have no idea what to expect out of the 2024 Atlanta Falcons. We have not seen them. None of the starters played in the preseason, so no one knows if there is chemistry or not. There is a lot of hope in this group if you are a Falcons’ fan, and a lot of skepticism if you may not be.
