Welcome to Episode 80 of The Perfectionist’s Guide to Mothering! Right now we’re right in the middle of our Body & Soul Summer Series and today’s episode is about the body, particularly pelvic floor health. I think we’ve all heard of the pelvic floor, but maybe aren’t sure what it is or how to take care of it. That’s why I invited Dr. Kate Palmer to join us on the podcast.

She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in women’s health, specifically pregnancy, postpartum, dancers, and pelvic health, and wellness. She believes in a holistic, whole-body approach to treating musculoskeletal issues.

We chat about what the pelvic floor is, why it's important for us to pay attention to these muscles, and much more!
