Sometimes the beliefs you hold, end up holding you back. “I’m not good enough, I can’t, I don’t have enough time, I’m not as good as _____, I would if I had more money, this is how I am, I can’t change, if my circumstances were different I could”... etc. These beliefs cause us to think with a scarcity mentality which in turn causes depression, comparison, settling, complacency, dependence, fear... etc. Understanding scarcity mentality is a good first step in change. Even though we’re just average people, we have the ability to live extraordinary lives if we change the way we think and don’t allow ourselves to become victims of our thought patterns or life circumstances.
