Yes, this is the one where I cried. Welcome to the sixteenth episode of our special series "Through Theology in a Year" on the "Theology Unplugged" podcast. This episode is titled "The Theological Process: Part Two." In this session, we continue our deep dive into the theological process by explaining and illustrating each of the three essential steps. Last time, we introduced the chart, but now we'll go through each step in detail: first, "What did it mean?" focusing on the author's original audience; second, "What does it mean?" considering the timeless truths; and third, "How does it apply?" relating it to our contemporary audience today. We'll explore how these three perspectives—author's audience, timeless audience, and today's audience—help us understand theology and accurately interpret the Bible. Michael's public blog: https://credohouse.org Courses from Michael and other scholars: https://credocourses.com Support me and get A LOT more stuff from C. Michael Patton: http://patreon.com/cmichaelpatton We'd love to hear your thoughts and questions on this topic! Leave a comment below and let's engage in a meaningful discussion.
