Author and seminary professor, Dr. Stephen J. Wellum discusses some of his thoughts on various interviews he did on Christian Nationalism on the Christ Over All Podcast.

We talked about the renewed interest in public engagement and Political Theology by many Christians today and different models of political theory. We also discussed how Dr. Wellum thinks about politics from a Biblical perspective and his thoughts on various schools of thought like Thomistic Natural Law Theology, Theonomy and Christian Reconstructionism, and Radical Two Kingdoms Theology. We also talked about the relationship of Covenant Theology to this discussion and the importance of a whole-Bible approach to these topics in light of the progressive revelation between the Old and New Covenants.

Dr. Stephen Wellum is a professor of Christian theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and Editor of The Southern Baptist Journal of Theology and Professor of Christian Theology. Prior to teaching at Southern Seminary, Dr. Wellum had taught at the Associated Canadian Theological Schools and Northwest Baptist Theological College and Seminary. Dr. Wellum is the author of numerous books including his forthcoming Systematic Theology volumes. He is also one of the contributors on the Christ Over All Podcast and an elder at Faith Community Church in Prospect, Kentucky and married to Karen, with five children.
