As a result, users often feel like they're talking to another person, and this human-like interaction has allowed AI to "pass" the Turing test—a benchmark in computer science for determining whether a machine can convincingly imitate human behavior. Chris also touches on the current limitations of AI, stressing that while today's generative AI is impressive, we are still far from achieving artificial general intelligence (AGI). For now, AI should be embraced as a powerful tool to enhance our lives, rather than something to fear.
