In today’s episode, we’re discussing a listener suggestion from Sarah. What do you do when you want to bully the bullies that are bullying your child?
Most of us have a story about bullying...either witnessing it, hearing about it, engaging in it, or being on the receiving end of it. It's bad all around. No one likes a bully and it's totally natural that parents react strongly to bullying. Of course you'll defend your child from a threat...any threat. We're hard wired to protect them. But, what we might not consider is the potential harm caused by "fixing everything" for them. What if, instead, we focused on setting them up for success, ensuring they feel safe and heard at home, modeling what the healthy expression of feelings looks like, and teaching them not to take things personally.

We'd love to hear from you! Reach out to us.
