In episode 111 of GT247's Tigers in 20, host and lead writer Christian Fowler and GoTigers247 digital content creator Kenny Stubblefield break down Memphis' frustrating loss to Temple over the weekend.

Ryan Silverfield and the Tigers came into the first conference matchup as heavy favorites, but they fell flat against the Owls. Memphis went to Philadelphia and laid a dud one week after handing a win to UTSA.

So, the question becomes: What's wrong with this team after a 3-0 start and a win over Mississippi State? Unfortunately, there isn't a simple answer. Throughout this episode, Fowler and Stubblefield diagnose the biggest issues on the Memphis football team.

Over the last two weeks, there have been some very questionable coaching decisions and poor execution from the players in key moments. It's unfair to put all the blame on Silverfield and the coaching staff, but they have certainly played a role in the last two losses.

With seven games left to go this season, this team has to find an identity, and they also need more creativity from offensive coordinator Kevin Johns and defensive coordinator Mike MacIntyre. If some of the big issues aren't fixed, then this could be a VERY ugly season for the Tigers.

There's too much talent on this team for a disappointing season, so something needs to be figured out very soon.

Before the episode wraps up, Fowler and Stubblefield also briefly discuss Memphis basketball's pro day and tease upcoming content.
