Jaelin Howell - Racing Louisville FC, Midfielder
Manage episode 422112607 series 3511642
Jaelin Howell, midfielder with Racing Louisville in the NWSL, is known as a hard-nosed player and fierce competitor. She was a two-time national champion at Florida State and was awarded the Hermann Trophy, college soccer’s equivalent of the Heisman, in 2020 and 2021. She has also earned multiple caps with the US Women’s National Team. Being chosen by Louisville as the second overall pick in the 2022 NWSL draft turned out to be quite serendipitous, because as much as she plays all in all the time on the field, her commitment to giving back off the field is just as strong. Her work with Down Syndrome of Louisville helped her earn the 2023 Nationwide Community Impact Award. I’ve been a fan for quite a while, and this conversation with Jaelin Howell just solidified what I thought I already knew.
