Vonda Pelto on Wonderland Murders, Trick or Treating with Serial Killers, Trash Bag Murder Jokes: During the Jiggy Jaguar Radio Show, hosted by James Lowe, the subject is serial killers and criminals as Vonda Pelto, Ph.D., author of Without Remorse: The Story of the Woman Who Kept Los Angeles' Serial Killers Alive, talks about her dealings with legendary porn star John Holmes and his involvement in the famous Wonderland Murders committed by Eddie Nash. Holmes, who was held in Los Angeles Men's Central Jail for 110 days, initially refused testify because Nash had threatened his life and those of everyone in his address book, which Eddie Nash had stolen. He eventually gave up some information and was released and Nash confessed to killing four people by beating them to death and died in prison. Holmes moved to Europe, because he was banned from doing porn in the United States because he had contracted aids, to continue his career and passed away from aids in 1996. Vonda Pelto, a clinical psychologist who spent over three years working with serial killers and other high profile criminals to keep them from killing themselves, then talks about how she organized a Halloween Party in the high security unit and how they walked down the ward and gave candy to various serial killers and other inmates. Douglas Clark, the notorious Sunset Strip Slayer, who decapitated his female victims, performed a rather scary representation of that for Vonda when she came by his cell. Then she talks about the jokes they had spawned in the Central Jail about the Trash Bag murderers doing endorsements for Hefty Bags because they didn't leak. Gallows humor was the order of the day because it was a really stressful environment to work.
