Host Carl Jones is joined by Tom Flight, author of 'Yer Joking Aren't Ya? The Story of Middlesbrough FC's 1996/97 Season' and huge Boro fan to find out which matches he'd take with him to a desert island.
With the caveat that he can only take games from 1996/97, it's a bittersweet trip back down memory lane for even the most balanced Boro fan as the Teessiders record one of the most remarkable seasons in English top flight history.
We break down the summer transfer flurry of superstars, the thrilling start to the season, the infamous postponed game with Blackburn in December that would reverberate through the remainder of their season and the multiple trips to Wembley in two domestic cup campaigns that would ultimately end in tears.
