This time of year is the height of our abundance and fertility. While the harvest sabbats celebrate the full process of the actual harvest, Litha is the true beginning of the time of plenty. It is a time to be grateful for all of the things we have been given and for giving thanks for the year we have already survived. This is also a very auspicious time of year for healing rituals, herb gathering and work that increases that abundance. And we can do that very easily by using a magical substance that truly embodies the power of the sun… Honey!
