Manage episode 376750174 series 3449433
Did you know that an accent can actually attract higher conversion rates?
In fact, nearly half of Americans think that a British accent is the most appealing, followed by French accent (13% and then Australian (12%.
In today’s episode I speak with Luke Page, (Australian born and based in Melbourne) who helps frustrated coaches get consistent clients and hit $10k months, every month.
When Luke started selling and coaching to the U.S. he had insecurities about his Australian accent and feared his accent would cost him clients and sales.
What he discovered is by taking off his ‘mask’ of trying to sound polished and professional he was able to attract clients by revealing his trued self.
Listen as we talk about:
• How the way you think about your voice can effect how you show up
• Why authentic selling matters will attract the clients that are in alignment with you
• Why actors are incredible communicators and what other coaches can learn
from Actors
• Creating a program that stands out
• Working with a global audience
• How Luke got into acting last year and found imposter syndrome creeping in with this new skill
