Margie Engle is a name that's synonymous with success in equestrian circles, as she's dedicated her life to being at her best in the ring when it matters most. Hard work and commitment are the obvious markers, but her devotion to learning and evolving along with the sport sets Margie apart.
Since her youth Margie has been out to prove herself, whether it was playing football with the boys or getting on the biggest horses available to her. But as we learned, she was taking in as much knowledge along the way as possible. That means knowing how to work out to stay in competitive shape, listening to and being attentive when a horse has something to offer, and learning when to tune certain things out while focusing on others.
Her equestrian life has given her a multitude of highlights, and she spends time talking about some of the partners she's shared that journey with. Royce factors in prominently, as Margie shares the joys, the lessons and the laughs the duo have shared. It all comes together to offer a glimpse into the life of a living legend.
