22 | My Child Doesn’t Want to use Sign Language Anymore! Why Taking a Break from Sign Language is not a Problem, and 3 Things You Can Do as a Parent Support your Child’s Language Skills
Manage episode 398309197 series 3528031
Today I’m going to talk about a concern that came up in a parent community that I was a part of last week.
The parent was concerned that their child was no longer interested in using ASL to communicate and wanted to know if this was OK, and how to help their child continue learning ASL.
In this episode we are going to talk about why taking a break from signing is not a problem for your child, and what you can do to continue to support your child’s language skills during this time.
