At Million Marker, we help men and women balance their hormones by helping them reduce their exposure to plastic chemicals. Many plastic chemicals mimic estrogen, which can disrupt the ways our hormones communicate. Women have fluctuating hormones as it is. Messing with these hormones can only make issues worse. Many women of childbearing age turn to us to help with fertility issues that may be caused by endocrine-disrupting chemicals. However, endocrine-disrupting chemicals can also have an adverse effect on women who are transitioning into menopause. During this time, women’s hormones are changing, which makes this new chapter confusing for many women. That’s why we’ve invited Dr. LaKeischa W. McMillan onto our IG Live. Dr. LaKeischa is an integrative gynecologist, Perimenopause and Menopause specialist, and author of the book The Other PMS. Dr. LaKeischa is going to discuss why losing estrogen can make us feel older.
