Today I'm joined by dietitian, author and researcher Dr Caryn Zinn, we discuss how much in terms of carbohydrates should we be eating per day so as to remain healthy and not fall victim to insulin resistance.
We explore Dr Zinn's view that recommended daily allowances for protein intake are far too low.
How much by way of healthy fats should we be eating whether we're trying to lose weight or indeed maintain a healthy weight?
What are the healthiest sources of dietary fat ?
We also talk about the shortcomings of focusing too much on monitoring blood sugar levels at the expense of insulin levels.
