New Zealander Elina "Tip Tap" Osborne hiked 2,600 miles on the PCT in 2019 and 1,800 miles on Te Araroa in 2020-21. Along the way, she gave her brother an 11-day head start, caught him 2,000 miles later, met Scout and Frodo, survived the Sierras, re-discovered her native country, dodged angry bulls, and listened to the John Freakin' Muir Pod in the land of Lord of the Rings.
