In this episode Parm talks to Lisa Brown, an author on the newly released Clinical Practice Guideline for use of Ankle-Foot Orthoses and Functional Electrical Stimulation Post-Stroke. They discuss the CPG development process, as well as what conclusions might be applicable outside of the stroke population including for people with MS and other neurodegenerative conditions. They talk through some practical strategies clinicians can use when making bracing recommendations and give a preview of upcoming knowledge translation projects.
