The Alberta North Zone has trained over 50 Primary Care Network staff in our Behavioural Health Consultant (BHC) supplemental training program. Primary Care Behavioural Health is a model of healthcare delivery that meets patients where they are, and helps them use their strengths to manage their health including their mental health conditions. A trained BHC PCN staff can assist patients with sleep issues, anxiety, depression, sexual health concerns, trauma, chronic pain and other health concerns.
