Michael McDermott, M.D., is a neurosurgeon and the chief medical executive of Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. He is a world-renowned leader in neurosciences and has clinical expertise in the field of meningioma surgery and Gamma Knife radiosurgery.

Nir Lipsman, M.D., is a neurosurgeon, scientist and Director of Harquail Centre for Neuromodulation at Sunnybrook and associate professor in the department of surgery at the University of Toronto. Dr. Lipsman helped lead Canada’s first clinical trials of FUS in essential tremor and Parkinson’s disease, and is developing trials investigating FUS in obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease.
