Approximately 12 million people 40 years and over in the United States have a vision impairment. On today’s episode of BCI’s Distinguished Leader Series, we are joined by Marianne Haegeli, program director of learning and leadership at NSITE, a leading organization that connects corporate leadership to exceptional, dedicated employees, and supports organizations throughout the recruitment and development process, to discuss how her organization is opening doors for a more inclusive workforce.
Marianne has more than 20 years of experience as a Learning and Leadership Development professional with engagements in nonprofit, public, and private sector environments. Prior to joining NSITE, she initiated and managed start-up and ongoing immigration information operations for the U.S. Department of State worldwide and served as the Business Manager of an international school. Most recently, she led operations and innovation efforts of professional learning services for the world’s largest nonprofit association dedicated to international education and exchange. Marianne holds a Master of Arts in Intercultural Communications from the University of Maryland.
