Sarah Lauren is an author and survivor who passionately pursues total wellness. Painfully shy and socially awkward, she prefers the quiet of country living while she recovers from these uncomfortable characteristics. Her debut, Alchemizing Exploitation, details her experiences with sexual exploitation and her journey of reclamation. Sarah’s mission is to empower survivors of exploitation to reclaim their personal sovereignty and remember who they are. As a survivor, remembering who she is has changed her life forever. With radical responsibility, she understands that her purpose is to alchemize some of the worst experiences on Earth through storytelling. This has given her the ability to show others with similar backgrounds to do the same. Why? So the millions of exploited worldwide can heal and embody the frequency of unconditional love. 4.5 million people worldwide are victims of forced sexual exploitation. 1 in 6 endangered runaways in the U.S. will likely become a sex trafficking victim. She is one of the fortunate survivors, but the real miracle was discovering a way to overcome the trauma. It can happen to anyone, and Sarah is living proof of that. She also proves you can get out, create a better life, and help others do the same. There is hope no matter what you’ve experienced in this lifetime.
