This week we return to our yearly feature of January Dumping Ground where we search the local tip for the best and worth films released in the often maligned January film release.

January's can be a hard time for film's and often studios dump their content there when they have little faith in it. Often these dumped films are not well received or become flops at the box office. We are here to delve into them and see if they live up to the title or are they hidden gems in a pile of shit.

So join us as we have a look at the creature feature The Relic (1997) starring Tom Sizemore (RIP). Will it reach the heights of other 90's creatures features like Jurassic Park, Species, Mimic or Ben Affleck's Phantoms or will in be deserving of the dumpster like Jurassic Park 2, Species 2, Mimic 2 and Ben Affleck's Phantoms (Okay we haven't seen that one, is it awful?).
