Tom Yake is a former Corps Member and Senior Managing Director from Teach for America. Tom graduated from William and Mary as a double-major in economics and history, as a TFA Corps Member he earned a master’s in secondary education from Arizona State University while serving as lead teacher for Omega Schools in Phoenix Arizona. Tom would go on to earn another master’s in economics of education from Columbia University before returning to TFA as a Recruitment Manager. Tom would go on to rise steadily through the ranks, serving as director of recruitment for upstate New York, director of New York and New Jersey Activation, managing director of recruitment, and later Senior Managing Director of Innovation. Tom would go on to exit TFA as Consulting Manager in government and public services.
