In this edition of the Deep Fried Podcast Chase is joined by Chris Reed, site administrator and producer of deepfriedcouch.com and the Deep Fried Podcast along with movie regular Will Lindberg.
In this edition of the Deep Fried Podcast Will and Chase briefly review Looper, which they both saw over the weekend. Don’t worry, you won’t find any spoilers in this episode.
We spend the majority of the podcast discussing the newly relaunched service MoviePass. The Hollywood Reporter posted a story this week explaining the service, the technology they’re using, and how their potential business model will work once the service is out of beta. We discuss the technology involved, the practicality of the service, and if we think it can succeed without parterning with major national movie theater chains.
