4 For the WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE are not fleshly but powerful through God for the TEARING DOWN [“PULLING DOWN”] of STRONGHOLDS. We are tearing down false arguments 5 and every high-minded thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God [“The Word of God”]. We are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Messiah— ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.. - 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 (ISV)

STRONGHOLD: A fortress where prisoners are locked up and held captive by their enemy. We have strongholds when we are living under the control or deception of someone or something that is not true, or anything that exalts itself in our minds, “pretending” to be bigger or more powerful than our God and His. Word.

One who is WISE can go up against the city of the mighty and PULL DOWN the STRONGHOLD in which they trust. - Proverbs 22:21 (NIV)

HOW TO WIN A WAR WITH THE RIGHT WEAPONS:
1. NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST YOU CAN PROSPER

WEAPONS made to attack you won't be successful; words spoken against you won't hurt at all. My servants, Jerusalem is yours! I, the Lord, promise to bless you with VICTORY. - Isaiah 54:17 (CEV)

God stripped the spiritual rulers and powers of their AUTHORITY. With the cross, He won the VICTORY and showed the world that they were POWERLESS. - Colossians 2:15 (NCV)

2. SPEAKING THE WORD IS YOUR GREATEST WEAPON

4 But we commend ourselves in every way as servants of God: in great endurance, in sufferings, in hardships, in distresses, 5 in beatings, in imprisonments, in riots, in labors, in sleepless nights, in hunger, 6 in purity and sincerity, in knowledge and spiritual insight, in patience, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in genuine love, 7 in [SPEAKING] THE WORD of truth, in the power of God; by the WEAPONS of righteousness for the right hand [like holding the SWORD to attack] and for the left [like holding the shield to defend]. - 2 Corinthians 6:4-7 (AMP)

• The Word of God carries its own Authority
• The Word of God is a Double-edged Sword of Truth that cuts through Satan’s lies
• The Word of God fully arms us for battle and ensures our total victory

THE WORD OF GOD DIVIDES AND DISCERNS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN:
• Your SOUL - (Mind, Will, & Emotions) - Your natural human nature
• Your SPIRIT - (Heart, Spirit, & Conscience) - Your new spiritual nature

3. PRAYING THE WORD IS THE SECRET WEAPON OF WARFARE

11 Put on God’s WHOLE ARMOR [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies].....- Ephesians 6:11-13 (AMPC)

Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, EVERY WEAPON God has issued...Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. GOD’S WORD is an indispensable WEAPON. In the same way, PRAYER is essential in this ongoing WARFARE. - Ephesians 6:13-18 (MSG)
