Dr.Maclin is the Executive Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility at the Special School District of St. Louis County. He has over 20 years of experience in educational leadership. He works to ensure equitable opportunity for over 23,000 students in his district daily by providing support to all instructional, operational, and administrative staff efforts - to secure high-quality educational opportunities for all students. Dr.Maclin is an AWARD-WINNING LEADER offering over 20 years of experience in the field and has a strong performance record in driving results-oriented Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion outcomes. Dr. Michael Maclin is considered one of the region's most efficient and effective diversity equity and inclusion specialists. He is an inclusion expert, and his ability to strategize and execute programs that will create an environment of cultural diversity in the workplace has earned him numerous awards, including the Educator of the Year prestigious honor. Lastly, Dr. Maclin is passionate about fitness as he feels it helps him stay disciplined, learn what works for him, and helps him improve. He is also part of a family dominated by men, with six brothers and one sister.
