In the pursuit of a harmonious and prosperous society, the principles of equality, freedom, and justice stand as the cornerstones upon which the foundation of any civilization is built. These ideals are not mere abstract concepts but tangible rights and values that dictate the quality of life for individuals and the community's overall well-being. The interrelationship and balance of these principles are essential in fostering an environment where all individuals can thrive, irrespective of their background, beliefs, or circumstances. In this week’s episode, we chatted with three amazing personalities who play a pivotal role in restoring this balance: Viandro Borja – Lead pharmacist at the Alfred hospital for mental health and an active volunteer on the SHPA (The Society of Hospital Pharmacists of Australia) mental health leadership committee; Danny Hatters, PhD – Professor at University of Melbourne and primarily involved in investigating the molecular bases of Huntington's and motor neuron diseases; Sophia Frentz, PhD – Data Product Mana at Loam Bio; and Sophia Frentz is also associated with Out for Australia as a non-executive director, empowering LGBTQIA+ people to thrive at work in the formative stages of their careers. Tune in to learn more about the numerous ways to embrace these principles so that we can build a world that is not only fair and just but also vibrant and resilient, capable of withstanding the challenges of the future while honoring the dignity and rights of every individual.
