Manage episode 318729801 series 3288693
Failing to escape the terror of Jimmy Buffet, Catherine and Walter are forced into a trivia game as Swade quizzes them on Jimmy Buffet song lyrics. (00:09:39) Catherine talks about Kitty Green's "The Assistant", the workplace #MeToo thriller film. The film opens up a discussion about everyone's past shitty job and their experiences at depressing office jobs. (00:25:09) Swade talks about Michael Lehmann's "Hudson Hawk" and shares how attractive Bruce Willis is. Unfortunately, this opens up hidden dark secrets about Swade's love for many different terrorists and he lists his favorites. (00:35:06) Walter continues to bring meta/reality breaking movies with "Jogo de Cena" or "Playing", directed by the famous Brazilian documentary filmmaker Eduardo Countinho. Asked to explain, he gets incredibly boring and pretentious about why "Is this a film?" films are so interesting to him. He also gets explosive and not in a good way.
