Mike Lansing is a professional goalkeeper for Aalesunds FK in the Eliteserien, the top league in Norway. He played 4 years at Bucknell University before making a jump over the Atlantic signing in Denmark’s 1.Division, Denmark's 2nd tier. Over the next 4 seasons Mike played for Aalborg BK and AC Horsens in the Superliga, Denmark’s top league. In 2021, he left Denmark to play in Norway’s 2nd tier, OBOS-ligaen, helping Aalesunds FK to promotion to Norway’s top flight. Mike shares with us the mindset needed to be a keeper, the difficulties when being 2nd string, the importance of enjoying life outside of football, the takeaways from living abroad, and much more.
