How do you grow your massage therapy business? What are the best ways to market your business if you do not have much money to spend?

In this episode, Julie is joined by Erika Newsom, a 25-year marketing professional, to discuss how to market and brand your massage therapy business.

Erika Newsom is a marketing pro with over 25 years' experience contributing to successful campaigns as a client, agency partner, and sales executive. She has solved challenges for brands large and small – from consumer-packaged goods (Dr Pepper, Frito Lay, Snapple, Trident) to telco (AT&T, Nokia) to local and regional franchisees (McDonald’s, Whataburger) and independent, small businesses.

In this episode, Julie and Erika discuss:

  • Learning how to market within the Massage Therapy Industry
  • Using Google to market your massage therapy practice
  • The elements of a solid massage therapy marketing plan
  • What does a branding process look like for a massage therapist
  • Using your boundaries to determine your massage brand
  • Using SEO and paid ads to market your massage therapy business
  • What marketing should we pay for as massage therapists

Best piece of advice from Erika:

Marketing will not fix operations issues. Ensure your guest experience is excellent before using marketing tactics like referrals or reviews.
