Have you ever found yourself questioning your hard-earned money skills time and time again? Maybe you’ve spent months (or years) learning all there is to know about investing and budgeting. You’ve done the courses, attended the webinars, read the books, and even chatted with professionals and qualified advisors. And yet, for some reason, when it comes to owning your knowledge, of saying “heck yes” to your budding money skills, something in you wavers. You hesitate. You feel uncomfortable and out of place accepting that yes, you have become financially literate. Sounds familiar? Then this week’s convo with Kayla Nedza may make you reconsider.

Let’s be honest: putting your most honest, confident, and self-assured money self out in the world is no easy feat. In fact, when it comes to owning your money skills (and knowledge!) a weird paradox usually pops up: the more you know about a topic, the less confident you feel about the accuracy of your claims and beliefs (btw, this is why most subject matter experts always respond to questions with what seems to be vague “it depends”. It’s not that they don’t know —it’s just that they are trying to avoid over-generalizations).

This is why in this week’s episode our guest, Kayla Nedza, will walk us through two key money lessons that will help you to finally take ownership of your money skills and grow your confidence.

In this episode you will learn:

  • How Kayla’s dad set her up for success from early on.
  • Why grace and compassion are an integral part of every money journey.
  • One big money challenge Kayla is tackling today.
