See how he empowers people to grow edible mushrooms as a fun source of fresh food, to heal themselves through utilizing healing properties of fungi, and their historical uses to present day ways to imbibe their healing properties. John lives in the Catskills, where he holds walks through the forests as outdoor educational tours. He teaches how to cultivate, and make mushroom health extracts, as well as how to spot poisonous to edible forms of mushrooms. Aside from our own health benefits, he will tell us the role of Fungi in the restoration, specifically used to repair petroleum-contaminated, fire-affected, or heavy-metal contaminated agricultural or natural ecosystems; lands considered scorched earth after a natural disaster. John teaches several classes, one of which is how to build your own business with mushroom products.
