In this episode, Haylie Pomroy is joined by Jeff Cournoyer, a sports physiologist at the Institute for Neuro-Immune Medicine. Together, they explore the world of sports physiology and how it applies not only to athletes but also to those managing chronic illnesses and fatigue.

Jeff explains the complex processes involved in sports physiology, where every physiological response to exercise is precisely analyzed. This analysis helps in understanding how the body's systems—like the cardiovascular, respiratory, and metabolic systems—interact and respond to physical activity.

Jeff also discusses the critical balance between activity and recovery, and how personalized exercise regimens can be developed to enhance health and well-being.
