Send us a text Strava has to be the number 1 social media platform for endurance athletes...or at least we think. However, it is a LOT more than that to so many people who link that to other platforms and apps so that coaches can use the data to help guide training schedules for their athletes. It sounds like Strava doesn't really care or doesn't want that to happen anymore with their latest changes. We talk about that a little but if you want all the details you should really go checkout DC Rainmakers breakdown on this. See links below. There were also a ton of Turkey Trots this week. Send us a text With the New York City Marathon having been run a couple weeks ago, there were some things to come out to talk about. And it didn't have to do with who won the race this time. Casey Neistat has been chasing the 3 hour marathon for a little while now. Check out his channel and his latest video on running this years New York City Marathon. Congrat's to him and his journey! So very happy for him and his accomplishment. While that was really cool, something else happened this year that wasn't so cool and the New York City Marathon banned a runner. That runner is Matthew Choi and he has since taken ownership of the mistake and has apologized. Good on him for doing that and if you like running, you'll probably like his channel as well. Take a look at the link below. Also, we have to discuss the season we're about to step into. Winter Running the the blues that come with it are on the doorstep. What shall we do? Send us a text Just the casual back yard race where you challenge your buddy to race to the fence. You might get that kind of feeling at a back yard ultra. The format is simple really. One loop is 4.167 miles, you start every hour, you run one loop, and as long as you're back in the starting corral before the next hour starts, you keep on continuing until you are the "last man or woman standing".
