She'll share insights into common psychological challenges faced by patients, explain the concept of visceral hypersensitivity, and offer practical strategies for managing triggers through lifestyle changes, psychological interventions, and diet. Don't miss this deep dive into the mind-gut connection! Dr. Esther Stein is a graduate of Rutgers University, holding a doctorate in psychology with a specialization in gastro-psychology. She received advanced training at Mount Sinai's Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center and GI Motility Center. She has delivered lectures for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and has conducted significant research on the mental health of young adults with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Dr. Stein's work bridges the gap between gastrointestinal health and psychological well-being for patients with IBD, IBS, GERD, gastroparesis, visceral hypersensitivity, and other gastrointestinal disorders. _________________________________________________
