Wanda M. Johnson founder, PREEMPT, Corp., discusses her journey in building an Equal Employment Opportunity business. She provides insights and key strategies for success. Wanda oversees all operations on behalf of her company that provides preemptive strategies and solutions to private industry and the Federal Government by PREEMPTing Discrimination and Empowering Entrepreneurs in the EEO industry. PREEMPT is a successful graduate of the SBA’s 8(a) program and is currently a GSA Certified, EDWOSB business that has been awarded millions of dollars in Federal contracts. In addition, Wanda is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses program that encourages small business growth.
Wanda strongly believes in “Economic Empowerment through Equal Opportunity”, Entrepreneurship and Visionary leadership. In addition, Wanda has a legal background that she utilizes to ensure that PREEMPT and its personnel remain in compliance with employment laws while providing outstanding services. Wanda has expertise in the areas of human capital, discrimination, harassment, service contract, and wage-hour laws, union/management-labor relations, investigations, and various other human resources and labor areas. Because of her expertise in these areas, Wanda is responsible for the recruitment and retention of highly skilled consultants that operate on all projects.
