Jessica shares how she has traveled the world to create a superior product for parents regarding their precious newborn baby.
In 2014, Jessica Hung co-founded Parasol, a woman-owned business that innovates diapers and products that prevent diaper rash in sensitive-skin babies. “As parents, it’s our responsibility to protect and comfort our children…from infancy when they can’t speak for themselves and into young adulthood (when they can be quite outspoken). While my ‘kids’ are now 21 and 17, I know first-hand the challenges of raising babies and toddlers and recall clearly (and audibly) the discomfort and anxiety they — and I, as their parents — experienced with diaper rash. Almost a generation later, nothing had changed in the diaper world. With my determination as a lifelong learner, I knew I could discover and design a better experience for babies and their families. A parent’s concern to do the best for their child never ends, and it’s my goal to personally give parents the peace of mind they are doing the best possible for their kids.”
