Each of these survivors faces both immediate and lifelong care needs, yet Gaza’s healthcare infrastructure is severely compromised. Many surgeries performed under challenging conditions are suboptimal, leaving countless individuals in need of additional interventions. Amputees require early, sustained rehabilitation and reliable access to prosthetic services—services currently out of reach due to damaged facilities, displaced healthcare professionals, and pervasive insecurity.
