The guys debate the debut of Tom Brady in the top Fox Sporst TV booth for the NFL, as he worked with Kevin Burkhardt on the Cowboys/Browns game this past Sunday. Mike feels strongly about what Brady lacked, but the debate ensues on whether he'll be better?
They also discuss the smashing ratings for the NFL overall off the weekend and then, they turn to the controversy of 49ers backup RB Jordan Mason revealing to ESPN's Lisa Salters after the Monday night game that he knew for days he'd be starting for injured Christan McCaffery. Yet, the 49ers didn't list McCaffery as doubtful or out on the injury report, as required.
That's where the guys turn to Jonathan Grella, former V.P. of Communications for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to give them his inisght on being on the inside for a team dealing with these situations, when they arise. Grella even has examples of when he dealt wtih this during his Bucs tenure.
The guys also talk Deion Sanders and his Colorado team's apparent unraveling continuing with the blowout beating at Nebraska. Will the powers that broadast like ESPN, Fox and CBS be willing to criticize and tell the truth about Colorado's shortcomings.
