Ziad followed in his family's artistic footsteps, becoming a renowned artist, singer, writer, composer, and playwright. He is celebrated for writing some of Fairuz's most iconic songs, as well as for his writings in publications such as *Al-Nidaa* and *An-Nahar* ("النداء" وجريدة "النھار").
