Byron Meyer is a Production Sound Mixer originally from South Africa but is now based out of Copenhagen, Denmark. He uses a Sound Devices 6-Series mixer/recorder, Wisycom wireless, DPA 4060 lavs, DPA 4017b boom mic & DPA 4097 micro boom as a plant mic. Byron likes Tentacle Sync for time code and he uses a K-tek Stingray bag.

Each episode we talk with location sound mixers, boom ops and other industry pros about the various aspects of recording sound on-location for feature and independent films, TV commercials, interviews, anytime where dialog from actors is recorded.
