Mountain BizWorks’ Disaster Recovery Efforts: What Now? | MIIA x MBW

In the wake of Hurricane Helene, businesses across Asheville and Western North Carolina have faced devastating losses, including the destruction of over 100 bridges and significant road closures. Since launching the WNC Strong Helene Business Recovery Fund, Mountain BizWorks has received over 425 applications requesting more than $28 million in recovery loans and grants, with the goal of raising $50 million to support affected businesses.

The question on everyone’s mind is: What now? This episode dives into that very question, covering the available resources, funding options, and long-term recovery strategies for small businesses in our community.
