Manchester United… the most in-form team in the Premier League... apparently! It doesn’t feel like it, but, somehow, that’s four league wins in five games for Erik ten Hag’s Reds. It was hardly convincing; United failing to convert some good chances again and going through another game without a forward scoring. Victor Lindelof was the unlikely match-winner in a one-goal home victory over Luton Town.

Earlier in the week, we did see a forward score. And twice. Rasmus Hojlund continued to show his excellence on the European stage by putting United two ahead at his old club. A wonderful performance disrupted by a nonsensical refereeing decision, in the aftermath of which United crumbled a little. 2-2 and then back in front, a Fernandes penalty. But then behind again, 4-3. A gutting result after some really positive signs.

So, lots to review from one win and one defeat on the latest episode of the Manchester United Weekly Podcast with hosts Harry Robinson and Jack Tait.

We discuss the positive signs in midfield over the last three games and why Harry Maguire's excellent diagonal passes are a good sign, but also demonstrate something lacking in the side. Harry talks about his trip to Copenhagen and we play Guess the Player, give you the Academy Briefing and discuss Man Utd Women's start to the season.

Plus, in our Patreon Q&A we talk what Sir Jim Ratcliffe might do in his first few weeks at the club, and lots more. To get access to our 100th-ever bonus Q&A, head here.
